Chairman's Corner: Claim Your Seat - Become a Precinct Chair

On Saturday, March 13, 2021, the Cobb County Republican Party will hold Precinct Caucus Meetings to elect new Precinct offices, House District Chairs and Secretaries, and finally, delegates and alternates to the County Convention on April 17.

The 2020 elections and 2021 runoff proved one thing, the need for a more energetic and more engaged grassroots organization. In a couple of weeks, before the March 13 meeting, I will again be hosting a Precinct officer training course at Cobb GOP headquarters and via Zoom for anyone who cannot or does not feel comfortable attending in person.

The Cobb GOP has a two page description of the duties of each Precinct officer position as well as an extensive Precinct Officer Handbook, to help you decide in which position you believe you have the time, skill, and experience to serve.

Often times, even those elected to precinct positions look past our precincts, and neglect this critical foundation of the Republican Party. The precincts are the Republican Party in our neighborhoods and each Precinct officer needs to approach their position with the same dedication and focus as they would if they were running for county or even state party chairman.

In 2021, we need people to claim their seat - to step up and lead the Republican Party in their neighborhood an community! Please watch the video below to find out more and please share with your friends and neighbors about how they too can get involved.

Pre-register TODAY for the Cobb County Precinct Caucus on Saturday, March 13!
