Bruce Thompson
Senator Bruce Thompson (R–White) represents District 14 in the State Senate, which is includes Bartow, Cherokee and Cobb counties. The district stretches from highway 140 to highway 92, and from highway 41 to Interstate 575. For the 2019-2020 session, it is no surprise that Senator Thompson has been selected to serve on the Veterans, Military, and Homeland Security committee as the Chairman. Over the past 4 years, he chaired important study committees on cyber security and traveled the country meeting with experts in this field. He introduced several pieces of cyber related legislation and is credited with fighting to get Georgia positioned to secure Cyber Insurance for the state agencies
