Mary Clarice Hathaway is a proud Cobb business owner who’s career includes active involvement in public service and political life. She has regularly volunteered in local politics, supported local candidates and served as a poll watcher in previous elections.

Mary Clarice holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communication and Information Sciences from the University of Alabama, with a major in Public Relations and double minors in English and Child Development. She also earned a Master’s in Public Administration, specializing in Political Management.

    1st Vice-Chair

    Jeffrey Hathaway Jr.

Jeffrey Hathaway, Jr. is a dedicated husband, father, and lifelong conservative who has proudly called Cobb County home since 2017. He and his wife have been married for nearly 16 years and are raising their three children in East Cobb, where all three attend Mt. Bethel Elementary.

A strong supporter of President Donald J. Trump since the early days of his 2016 campaign, Jeff has been actively engaged in the conservative movement and is passionate about preserving American values and individual liberty.

Professionally, Jeff has been a full-time entrepreneur since 2012, when he launched his own e-commerce business. His experience in business ownership has shaped his belief in free markets, limited government, and the importance of economic opportunity.

In his free time, Jeff enjoys coaching his six-year-old son’s basketball and flag football teams, and cheering on his favorite sports teams—including all things Philadelphia sports and Duke Basketball. Most of all, he’s committed to his family, his community, and the values that have made this country great.

    Secretary
    ARIELLE KURTZE

Arielle Kurtze and her husband have been happily married for over 19 years. In June of 2022, they made Cobb County their home, along with their three wonderful children—all of whom attend Cobb County public schools—and their beloved Malti Poo, a cherished member of the family.

Since 2019, Arielle has owned and operated a successful travel planning business, combining her passion for organization and adventure with a strong entrepreneurial spirit.

Arielle first became engaged in local politics when she spoke before the Cobb County Board of Education, expressing gratitude for the Board’s efforts to keep inappropriate and pornographic materials out of public schools. Recognizing the importance of maintaining conservative leadership, she helped organize a press conference to emphasize the value of keeping the school board in Republican hands. She has also been involved with Trump Force 47, working to help secure President Donald J. Trump’s re-election and support the America First agenda.

Arielle firmly believes Cobb County has the potential to be a leading red county in Georgia. She is committed to working alongside a positive, energetic team of principled conservatives to help make that vision a reality.

When she's not working or volunteering, Arielle enjoys spending time with her family, experimenting in the kitchen (her sourdough is a family favorite), and exploring Georgia’s hiking trails. Whether it’s in her home, her community, or the political arena, Arielle brings passion, dedication, and a heart for service to everything she does.
